Welcome to Our Academy

A Message From Our Principal

Immaculate Conception School was founded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Brentwood, Long Island. The school was founded in the spirit of their mission statement, “Empowered by God’s love, rooted in the Gospel of Jesus, and faithful to the vision of one sacred Earth community, we live and work to bring all into union with God and one another.”

With that vision, our school was built and its doors opened in September 1938. For 77 years, that vision held true and in 2015 grew to become Immaculate Conception Catholic Academy and evolved into our current mission statement that “Through the sound teachings of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Immaculate Conception Catholic Academy believes in academic excellence and fosters an environment in which every child can achieve.”

ICCA is a co-educational elementary school located on a beautiful, 16-acre campus in Jamaica Estates, Queens, that we share with the parish of Immaculate Conception Church, the Passionist Monastery, and the Thomas Berry Place.

ICCA is a provider for NYC’s PreK for ALL program for 3-year-olds and 4-year olds. On the academy side, our program includes Kindergarten through 8th grade. ICCA graduates attend the best schools in NYC both parochial and public.

While academics are our priority, we strive to engage our students in a variety of extracurricular activities including a newspaper club, school chorus, band, art, debate, dance and various CYO sports.

We invite you to learn more about ICCA and our academic and extracurricular programs. Call us for a tour or come to one of our open houses.

We look forward to meeting you!
